DESCRIPTION:We will meetup at the Marrochy Bushland Botanic Gardens around 8:45 for a 9am start. Please BYO food\, we will stop for a picnic. Sun smart clothes\, hat\, enclosed shoes\, and water bottles are fully recommended\, as well as rain jacket if there is a chance of rain. \nWe are doing the Marrochy Bushland Botanic Gardens. We are combining a couple of tracks and the total walk is about 2.5km. We will do a feel stops for nature-connection activities and for a picnic. We are combining the “Fern Glade Walk”\, “Lagoon Walk” and “Upland Bushwalk”. The total time estimated is around 2 hours. \nOur meetup point is at the front of the “Compass Garden Cafe” coffee shop.\nThis is the pinpoint: https://maps.app.goo.gl/GxxA7q… are meeting there at 8:45 for a 9am start. \nPlease note: Parents/guardians are fully responsible for themselves and their children and should join the whole walk. DESCRIPTION:Children and families will love these seasonally inspired activities\, presented by leading nature play facilitators.  Held in the beautiful bushland where nature is our teacher and inspiration\, the holiday program helps kids develop confidence in outdoor play and stewardship for the biosphere\, whilst learning bushcraft skills and creative arts. \nCelebrate winter this school holidays: \n\n\nMONDAY 26: ANIMAL TALK with Nelson from WILD & WISE TRIBE\n\nTuesday 27: Whipbirds\, Warmth and Wonder with Sammy from children’s Blue Sky Minds\nWednesday 28: Make a Dream Pillow with Carly from Natureweavers\nThursday 29: Fairy Fire and Wands with Carly from Natureweavers\n\nAll activities begin at the Whipbird Shelter\, adjacent to the Whipbird Village nature play area in the lower part of the Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Garden\, unless otherwise specified. \nRegistration is essential. Get in quick! Spaces are limited and these workshops will sell out.
